Calendar events, notes/to-dos, city location, bookmarks and alarm info are automatically saved to C64 Ultimates inbuild flash memory so they are always safe.
Automatic starting option is possible. So everytime you fire up your C64 it starts in Ultimate Desk showing the important info for the day with the latest news and weather. You can always go back to Basic with RUN/STOP or to Ultimates own menu system with Commodore + RESTORE. (Instructions in the manual).

Major UPDATE Release V20. Calendar has now timed & all day events, recurring events and event notifications with sound.Day view list has now editing and deletion. Manual updated.
Is this possible to run in VICE emulator?
seems to work. i am not used to Vice though myself
UPDATE V11.2R, added Settings page for Date format, Time format, Temperature format, Time adjustment. And fixed some USA city lookups for the weather. Manual also updated.
UPDATE V11.2 fixed the "W" letter issue. Weather and News updates automatically now every 30 minutes. Updated the manual also.

Hey in some iteration can it give temperature in Fahrenheit as a choice. Celsius numbers don't mean much to me.
For sure, I will add Fahrenheit soon. Probably I will tie it to the City (USA) location so it would be automatic.

Hi! i repeated the New York error. My mistake, as the "w" is a reserved command letter for updating manually the weather. Will correct this on the next update.

This looks awesome I just bought it. I seem to have issues it does not pick up the correct time for my time zone set in Ultimate settings. I cannot get the news to update it times out with a UCI error. Can you tell us what the exact settings need to be for the C64U? Maybe a .cfg file would be great! Thanks!
Hi! Check that your internet is working on the Ultimate (link up). You have to setup your location also in the Ultimate Desk pressing F6 and typing in the city + return (smaller cities are not found). On the C64 side the main setting is to have the SNTP enabled. The first time loading of weather and news may take some time, manual weather update can be done by pressing W. Here is a screenshot of my C64 settings. Send me a message if any problems .
Thanks. I got the news working. I cannot find any cities in Arizona, USA for weather. I'd like to add Tucson Az or Rio Rico but nothing comes up. Not even Phoenix or San Francisco work. Also my time still displays an hour ahead of my set time zone.
